1. what is the Indian Removal Act?

The Indian Removal act was at 28 may 1830 in progress by President Andrew Jackson. The law provided in a special designated area for Indians in the current Oklahoma. This law hold in to make negotiations with a lot of indians in this area to make their own country improved.

2. do you think treaties between Native Americans and the American government were profitable for both sides? 

I think it is good for both of them because the American government can make negotiations with them and the Native Americans can improved because of that in their own country.

3. Explain the title "Trail of tears".

Trail of Tears was a series of forced removals of Native American nations from their ancestral homelands in the Southeastern United States to an area west of the Mississippi River that had been designated as Native Territory. The forced relocations were carried out by various government authorities following the passage of the Indian removal act in 1830. The relocated people suffered from exposure, disease, and starvation while en route, and more than four thousand died before reaching their various destinations. The removal included members of the Cherokee, Muskogee, Seminude, Chickasaw, and Choctaw nations. the phrase ''trail of tears'' originated from a description of the removal of the Cherokee nation in 1838.

For this assignment we had to watch the film "The Canary Effect". We did this whit the four of us in a les that was canceled. The opinions are divided about this film.

Assignment 6

1. Why is this documentary called "The Canary Effect?"
The Indian plays much the same role in our American society that the Jews played in Germany. Like the miner's canary, the Indian marks the shifts from fresh air to poison gas in our political atmosphere; and our treatment of Indians, even more than our treatment of other minorities, reflects the rise and fall in our democratic faith.

2. Why is it ridiculous to say that Columbus discovered America?
It is ridiculous to say that Columbus discovered America, because the indian already lived here. But the rest of the world didn't know that America exist. Columbus only told the rest of the world what he had seen. He saw the indian living in there teepees. Columbus set as first foreigner a foot in America. Hereafter he returns to Europe and told the rest of world the existence of America. 

3. What have you learnt from watching this film? Explain it in detail.
What we have learnt form " The Canary Effect". The indians were treated really badly in the past. There was very severe discrimination. In the worst case they were killed. There are even 25000 indians assassinated. America is not proud of there actions. Therefor they are covering it op by not telling this piece of history to the new generation.

After world war I it was going bad with the economic in Germany. If it is going bad, people look for a scapegoat. They want to blame somebody. Hitler blamed the Jews.

1.1: What is ISIS?
ISIS is a terroristic group in the Islamic state of Iraq and Syria. They control millions of people with a lot of violence. When you are against their religion and you give your judgement. They give those people various punishments like; murder, they lock you up or mistreatment.
